THE INDOSPIRED BLOG
Welcome to INDOSPIRED – my little pocket on the Internet, to share all my Indonesian inspirations.
My purpose for this blog: Promoting, sharing and celebrating the rich diversity of the Indonesian Language and cultures.
I began blogging about Indonesia back in 2010, in the form of a visual travel diary, as part of my commitment to being the recipient of the E. K. Horwood Travel Scholarship awarded by the Modern Language Teachers’ Association of Victoria {MLTAV}. I enjoyed writing that blog so much that I didn’t want to stop and so I just continued. Over the years, I have realised that I have a lot of information {a whole brain full!} about Indonesia that I could share with others, from; Indonesian teachers and students to off-the-beaten-track travel junkies to Bali holiday makers and possibly even to Asian food lovers!
So, it is here that I’d like to share all the things that I LOVE about Indonesia, including; language learning, travel, art, culture, food and so much more…the list is endless really.
HANG. ON. A. MINUTE… STOP. RIGHT. THERE!
It appears the indospired blog has been hi-jacked by a little person! A little man named Sebastian Jaya.
Yes – it’s true. My blog has had the addition of stories and photos of my journey of Mamahood since my little man arrived into my life in 2015. And there you have it, my blog has basically transformed into a place where I can document ALL the things I love!
So, feel free to come along for the ride as I share my;
Indonesian Inspired Journey through … Language – Travel – Art – and a whole lot of other ramblings along with some toddler wrangling!
