LET’S COLLABORATE

Hi! I’m Julie and I’m the blogger behind indospired.

I started blogging in 2010 and in late 2014 I created this brand new space to share my Indonesian inspirations. Each week I blog on various topics, including; language, travel, art, culture, food, photography, education, technology and pretty much anything that relates back to Indonesia and Languages Education.

I have worked in Education for over 20 years, including; teaching bahasa Indonesia to Primary, Secondary and Adult Learners, and in other specialist areas such as; English as an Additional Language and Visual Arts. I have worked extensively in both Australia and in International schools and universities in Java and Bali, Indonesia.

In 2009, I began working as Indonesian Language Advisor for the Department of Education Victoria, for a period of five years. And since August 2013, I have worked as a freelance Indonesian Language and Culture Consultant and Lead Writer for various online Indonesian Language Educational Resources.

LET’S COLLABORATE… SHALL WE?

I love writing and developing Indonesian specific Language and Cultural Educational Resources and Projects, which are fun, engaging and authentic. I seem to have this natural ability to whip-up Language Learning Sequences and Curriculum Planners for Indonesian Language Programs; aligned with the Australian Curriculum. Over the years, I have presented at many Languages Education Conferences, Workshops and Network Meetings on a variety of topics. So, I am also happy to provide teachers and schools with Professional Learning in relation to Languages Education.

If you’d like to learn more about me or if you would like to contact me in relation to collaborating on an educational or cultural Indonesian Language based project, please feel free to email me at: julie.newnham01@gmail.com.

I’d love to hear from you!
